Originally from the great state of Texas, MaHallya Vaughan Ramirez has been working in the hospitality industry for the past 13 years. MaHallya has a BA in Biochemistry & Mathematics from Duquesne University and a Certificate in Business & Entrepreneurship from Cornell. She has worked from the bottom up to truly learn the ins and outs of the restaurant industry, catering world, and event planning. Her knowledge and experience spans from front of house and back of house positions, from 35 people to 1,000 guests, corporate meetings to million dollar weddings - she really has done it all! She has a keen eye for detail through the entire process of planning an event to setting up the venue.

Her experience at Pittsburgh's distinguished Duquesne Club alongside her work as a special events coordinator at a community-based nonprofit means she knows how to manage a budget, schedule staff, and produce marketing materials. She is very outgoing, particular, and detailed oriented to ensure everything is in the correct place for your special occasion.  Her organization skills and planning guarantee your event will be successful and as smooth as possible.
